Fellow for Leadership Summit: The Future of Local News and Public Media

Angie Tung is a product manager at Public Interactive, a division of NPR Digital Media, where she works with clients and developers alike. She joined the PI team in 2006 as content manager for PI's product Public Arts, and soon took on additional responsibilities of managing Public NewsRoom. Tung led PI's efforts in two CPB-funded collaborative projects, the 2008 Elections Collaboration and The Economy Story: 2009-2010. Recently, she took on the role of agile product owner for Core Publisher, a new PI product. In this capacity, she oversees the product's evolution and works closely with various teams to help guide planning, execution, and delivery. Tung is also the primary go-to person for the project's pilot stations. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a degree in music, and holds a master's degree in media arts from Emerson College in Boston.
