Fellow for News Entrepreneur Boot Camp 2010

imageLaura Frank is director of I-News, the Rocky Mountain Investigative News Network, and serves on the steering committee of the national Investigative News Network. Frank has nearly two decades of experience at metropolitan daily newspapers, in radio and in public television. She was an investigative reporter at the Rocky Mountain News before it closed in 2009. She has received industry recognition in both broadcast and print journalism, including a regional Emmy award for documentary production in1990. In 2007, Frank was a top 10 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in local reporting. In 2009, she was named a Scripps Fellow at the University of Colorado Center for Environmental Journalism. Frank holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois.
