Julia Schrenkler is the interactive producer for Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media. As MPR has started to reach out to the online and social networking spaces, Schrenkler is interested in how people read, listen, view, interpret and create content. As interactive producer, she opens online discussions, produces and hosts chats, and supports online photo, video and text projects. She also works with online producers, radio hosts, guests and nearly all MPR departments and the MPR audience. She manages behind-the-scenes support and open, direct communication in social media spots including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Gather. Prior, Schrenkler worked as an online producer at iVillage and communications assistant at Minnesota Relay Service.
