Laura Frank is the director of I-News at the Rocky Mountain Investigative News Network. I-News, the Rocky Mountain Investigative News Network, is a nonprofit in-depth news service in Colorado. Frank also serves on the board of directors of the national Investigative News Network, with more than 50 member-organizations nationwide. She spent two decades at metropolitan daily newspapers, radio and public television. She was an investigative reporter at the Rocky Mountain News when it closed in 2009. Her work has been recognized in both broadcast and print, including a regional Emmy award in 1990 for documentary production. In 2007, she was a top-10 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in local reporting. She has a journalism degree from the University of Illinois and was a Scripps Fellow at the University of Colorado Center for Environmental Journalism.
