Matt Gallivan

Senior Research Analyst, NPR's Audience Insight & Research group

Matt Gallivan is a Senior Research Analyst in NPR's Audience Insight & Research group, focusing mainly on issues related to digital media and emerging platforms. In this capacity, he has helped spearhead research critical to initiatives such as NPR podcasting, NPR Mobile, NPR on Sirius satellite radio and the Bryant Park Project. Gallivan joined NPR as a Data Analyst in December 2003. Prior to working at NPR, he was a Brand Planning Associate and Researcher at an ad agency in Burlington, VT, where he worked on projects for a variety of companies (Sugarbush Ski Resort, Hasbro, Vermont Public Radio) and state government agencies (Dept. of Health, Dept. of Tourism and Marketing). Gallivan holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.
