Best failed startup post-mortems

Learning from failure can be the best recipe for success. With that in mind, the entrepreneur’s web site Chubby Brain has put together a rundown of the 25 Best Startup Failure Post-Mortems of All Time. While only a couple of well-known news efforts are represented (NewsTilt and Backfence), the list is chock full of lessons for journalism entrepreneurs. Here are a few:

As the product became more and more complex the performance degraded. In my mind speed is a feature for all web apps so this was unacceptable especially since it was used to run live public website.I am very much pleased with the contents you have mentioned.
